Robots of War

     It is unfortunate yet undeniable that we are a violent species prone to waging war with one another. Because of this humans have long strived to make better weapons then their enemies. Arms races fueled by this innate desire have played an important role in the development and deployment of all sorts of new technologies. This is no different in today's world. It can be argued that the technological by-products of warfare may be the only 'real' good that comes from war.
     The acceleration of technological change directly effects all forms of technology including those used for warfare. Huge leaps that are being made in robotics and AI, are quickly being put to use in the world's militaries. These new technologies being implemented are having dramatically changing effects on how war is waged. We are now witnessing the beginning stages of a new generation of military technology. This is happening in every military in the world.
