Remarkable steps in understanding brain function are being made. Understanding ourselves and how our bodies function is essential to the long term progression of our species. We are quickly advancing toward a time where impairments and damage to the brain can be repaired. ..A time where augmentation and improvements will not only possible but quite possibly, routine. New understandings in how to work with this very complex organ are and will allow us to make changes to it's function. This is a very real case where our technology and biology are merging. All forms of scientific and technological progress are accelerating massively.
